Writing documentation can be a very dry task but it doesn’t have to be! You can carry a nice, familiar tone in your writing so the reader doesn’t feel put off by the fact that you know more than they do. I’m also a big believer in anecdotal tangents. These serve as a break from the serious business of educating the reader and keeps their attention. I recommend teasing the reader with cliff-hangers so they continue reading your documentation until the very end.
